Welcome to Lansing SM (“Lansing SM,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and any order you place for our printed goods and related services in the United States.

By visiting our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or purchase from us.

1) Company & Scope

  • Business: Lansing SM
  • Territory: We operate and sell within the United States only.
  • Customers: We serve consumers (B2C).
  • Services/Deliverables: Design intake (as applicable), printing, and delivery of printed goods including but not limited to menus, flyers, and postcards (collectively, "Products").
  • Note: No licensing or compliance services are provided; we are a print and delivery provider.

2) Eligibility

  • No customer account is required to place an order.
  • You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your state to place an order and enter into a binding contract.

3) Placing Orders & Cancellations

Orders may be submitted through the channels we make available from time to time (e.g., web forms, email). We may decline or cancel orders at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, unlawful or infringing content, or unavailability.

Custom print orders may enter production promptly; once production begins, cancellations may be unavailable.

No-guarantee disclaimer: Production and delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed. Events outside our control (e.g., supply interruptions, carrier delays, weather) may impact timelines.

4) Content, Proofs & Client Responsibilities

You own your content and are solely responsible for accurate, lawful, and non-infringing materials you submit (text, images, logos, designs, fonts). By submitting content, you represent and warrant you have all necessary rights and permissions to use, reproduce, and have us print such content.

You agree to review and approve any previews/proofs (if provided) for accuracy (spelling, layout, colors, sizing, bleeds, margins). We print what you approve.

Color output may vary due to device displays, inks, substrates, and print processes. Reasonable color and cutting tolerances are standard in commercial printing.

If you provide incorrect or incomplete information or delay approvals, you are responsible for resulting delays, reprints, or additional costs.

5) Payment, Pricing & Taxes

(Omitted by request.) If applicable, you agree to pay the price quoted at the time of order, plus any applicable taxes.

6) Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss

  • U.S.-only shipping. We deliver to U.S. addresses via our selected carriers.
  • Risk of loss transfers to you upon our delivery of the Products to the carrier.
  • Inspect shipments promptly. For damage, shortage, or errors, notify us within 7 days of delivery with photos and order details.

7) Returns, Reprints & Remedies (Custom Prints)

Because Products are custom-made, they are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where we determine there is a manufacturing defect or printing error caused by us and not present in the approved proof.

If we confirm a defect, our sole obligation is, at our option, to reprint the affected items or refund the defective portion of the order price.

This section sets your exclusive remedy for Product issues.

8) Intellectual Property & Ownership

  • Your materials: You retain ownership of the content you supply. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and modify your content solely to produce and deliver your order.
  • Our materials: We retain all rights in our pre-existing IP, templates, production files, and tooling. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, we do not provide editable source files or working files.
  • Portfolio samples: We may display non-sensitive images of completed work as samples or portfolio (e.g., on our site or social media) without your personal data, unless you email us to opt out before or within 14 days of delivery.

9) Acceptable Use & Prohibited Content

You agree not to submit content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, hateful, threatening, harassing, fraudulent, or that infringes any intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; not to upload malware; not to attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt our site; and not to use the Products for unlawful purposes.

10) Third-Party Services & Links

We may use third-party platforms (e.g., carriers, payment processors, design tools). We are not responsible for third-party sites or services and they may have their own terms and privacy policies.

11) Warranties & Disclaimers

Website and Products are provided "AS IS" to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

No guarantee of outcome or timeline: production and delivery estimates are not guarantees.

12) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits or revenue; or loss of data or goodwill. In all cases, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Products or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim.

13) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lansing SM and its affiliates, and our owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your content, your misuse of the Products or site, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14) Privacy & Cookies

Please review our Privacy Policy for how we collect, use, and share information and our cookie practices. By using the site, you consent to our privacy practices.

15) Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the U.S. and the state in which Lansing SM is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in that state and county.

Arbitration & class waiver: Not applicable (declined by customer). You retain your right to bring claims in court consistent with this section.

16) Suspension/Termination

We may suspend or cancel an order or restrict access to the site if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or for security, fraud prevention, or operational reasons.

17) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted with a new "Last updated" date and will apply to orders placed after the update. Material changes may be highlighted on the site.
